How do I make my Guild Cape? - Guild Wars Forums

I just created my Guild, preparing it for friends of mine, and I can't make the cape.

The accept option can not be selected.

And, I see 2 things on the bottom right corner, one that looks like a gold coin, and then a scroll, but it would not tell me what it is.

Any help guys?

They have changed it. Apparently you need 2 bars of platinum ( I think that is what it is) or something in order to make the cape. I have no idea how to get that item though.
So Im looking for help too.

Forgive me if the info is not entirely acurate, i don't have the game yet, but i believe you could get a cape made (only if you're in a guild i guess, and for 1000 gp i believe

) somewhere in Post-Searing Ascalon, don't know anything more than that.

you can get it in pre-seared Aacalon, but it requires some item I do not recognize. Someone mentioned that is was platinum. Im looking for confirmation on whether that is true or not.

EDIT: Gail mentioned that the platinum was a glitch that is now being fixed. It will cost gold to get a cape. Not sure who much though

i think ive posted this 3 times now.hehe

1 platinum bar = 1000gold

2 platinum bar = 2000gold

id like to know why the steeper price, i guess itll be just more challenging now to get a cape @ start.

i saw in a post else where that the high price for a guild cape is a bug, and i also had said in another thread that last night when i played, not only did i still have my guild from BWE, but i was able to make my guild emblem for 100g. so either i got really lucky before the change, or its just a "oops" on the sudden price change by the devs. but im pretty sure its a oops.... at least i hope so lol.
